He accompanies him on an adventurous journey that leads first to Auerbach's cellar and then to Marguerite's bedroom. But the destination is different – ​​hell. As one of the first artists, following in the footsteps of Goethe, Berlioz dared to tackle the subject of Faust – and gave it his own twist. As the title suggests, this is not about the hero's salvation, but about his path to the underworld.
