Biografia
The young Swedish mezzo-soprano Rebecka Wallroth has this autumn made her debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra performing Seven songs by Alma Mahler. Rebecka joined in 2023 the Mozartists’ Associate Artist Scheme and with the Mozartists’ season opening concert, she made her Wigmore Hall debut. The season 2023/24 also include her debut at DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. For the seasons of 2023/24 and 2024/25, Rebecka Wallroth has joined the International Opera Studio of Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin where she the first season sings the roles of a Cretan woman in Idomeneo, Second Handmaiden of Dircé in Cherubini’s Medea, Auntie in Jenůfa and Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly.
