En el 2046 Europa está totalmente bajo el dominio chino. Hace más de 30 años, China había rescatado Europa de su crisis financiera mediante la compra de su deuda, su patrimonio y sus recursos naturales. China es ahora la nueva potencia mundial. Turandot, la princesa de hielo, controla como un «Gran Hermano» a todos los europeos, con el fin de que paguen, hasta el último centavo, la deuda de la generación de sus padres.

In 2046 Europe is completely under Chinese rule. More than 30 years ago, China had rescued Europe from its financial crisis by buying its debt, its assets and its natural resources. China is now the new world power. Turandot, the ice princess, controls all Europeans like a "Big Brother", so that they pay, down to the last penny, the debt of her parents' generation.
