This concert highlights the artistic complicity of two Breton artists, the countertenor Damien Guillon and the concertist Véronique Le Guen, Deputy Director of the Academy of Music and Sacred Arts of Saint-Anne d'Auray and holder of the Kern organ in Saint-Séverin (Paris). With soprano Maïlys de Villoutreys and violinist Marion Rouquié, the quartet shares a program that gives pride of place to baroque motets and pieces for organ solo, to show the king of instruments in a different light. From England to Italy, via Belgium and France, this repertoire travels through Europe. Meet iconic composers such as Tallis, Dowland and Purcell and their moving lamentations. Other first-rate musicians to (re) discover, harpsichordist and organist Elisabeth Jacquet from La Guerre and two composers from Flanders, Henry Du Mont and Daniel Danielis. Organ, voice and violin, recall how these distant centuries are the bearers of an unprecedented artistic and intellectual profusion.
