The Silesian Opera, from the very beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, supports its neighbors fleeing the country on many levels, helping them to find their place in the new reality. We support Ukrainians and Ukrainian women by providing temporary accommodation, assisting in translating organizational matters, providing basic necessities, and now inviting them to a special concert "Silesian Opera for Ukraine", which will take place on March 26 at 18:00in the concert hall Adam Didura. The honorary patronage over the event was assumed by the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, Jakub Chełstowski. We invited artists who are close to us and from Ukraine to participate in this event. During the concert, we will hear Ukrainian arias, songs and music, through which we want to show our neighbors not only spiritual support, but most of all organize and provide real help. Therefore, financial support from the concert, thanks to the Society of Lviv Lovers in Bytom, will be given to help the families of the Artists from Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytsky who remain in Ukraine.

Opera Śląska od samego początku inwazji rosyjskiej na Ukrainę, wspiera wielopłaszczyznowo uciekających z kraju sąsiadów, pomagając im odnaleźć się w nowej rzeczywistości. Wspieramy Ukraińców i Ukrainki zapewniając tymczasowe miejsca noclegowe, pomagając w tłumaczeniach spraw organizacyjnych, dostarczając środki pierwszej potrzeby, a teraz zapraszając na wyjątkowy koncert „Opera Śląska dla Ukrainy”, który odbędzie się  26 marca o godz. 18:00 w Sali koncertowej im. Adam Didura. Honorowy patronat nad wydarzeniem objął Marszałek Województwa Śląskiego Jakub Chełstowski. Do udziału, w tym wydarzeniu zaprosiliśmy bliskie nam artystki i artystów z Ukrainy. Podczas koncertu usłyszymy arie, pieśni i muzykę ukraińską, poprzez którą chcemy okazać naszym sąsiadom nie tylko duchowe wsparcie, ale przede wszystkim zorganizować i przekazać realną pomoc. Dlatego wsparcie finansowe z koncertu dzięki fundacji Towarzystwo Miłośników Lwowa w Bytomiu przekazane zostanie na pomoc dla rodzin Artystów z Lwowa, Iwano-Frankiwska i Chmielnickiego pozostających na Ukrainie.
