PÄRNU OPERA DAYS is an annual festival organized by Eesti Kontsert in the beautiful coastal city of Pärnu, Estonia. The event is an excellent meeting opportunity for opera lovers. Works of opera theaters from around the world are presented in a hall known for its great acoustics. This year, the festival's guest will be the Polish Royal Opera, and the Pärnu Concert Hall stage will feature Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Don Giovanni and Stanisław Moniuszko's The Haunted Manor. The festival will traditionally be crowned with an opera gala and a gala dinner.

During the concert, the Artists of the Polish Royal Opera - excellent soloists and an orchestra under the direction of David Runtz - will perform a beautiful repertoire consisting of excerpts from famous operas. First of all, we will hear excerpts from the works that can be heard on a daily basis in performances staged by our institution at the Royal Theater. After the thrilling overture to The Marriage of Figaro, the audience will hear two arias and a duet from this work, followed by excerpts from Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute. The program will also feature Polish repertoire - stanzas from the opera Straszny Dwór sung by two siblings - Hanna and Jadwiga as well as Stefan and Zbigniew.

The second part will open with excerpts from Gioacchin Rossini's Barber of Seville - a title that attracts crowds of viewers to the Royal Theater in Łazienki. The repertoire also includes excerpts from the works of other opera masters of the Romantic era, such as Gaetan Donizetti, Georges Bizet and Giuseppe Verdi.

Podczas koncertu Artyści Polskiej Opery Królewskiej – znakomici soliści oraz orkiestra pod kierunkiem Dawida Runtza – wykonają przepiękny repertuar, na który składają się fragmenty słynnych oper. W pierwszej kolejności zabrzmią wyimki z dzieł, które na co dzień można usłyszeć w przedstawieniach wystawianych przez naszą instytucję w Teatrze Królewskim. Po porywającej uwerturze do Wesela Figara publiczność usłyszy dwie arie i duet z tego dzieła, a następnie fragmenty z Don Giovanniego oraz Czarodziejskiego fletu. Program uświetni również polski repertuar – strofy z opery Straszny dwór wyśpiewywane przez dwa rodzeństwa – Hannę i Jadwigę oraz Stefana i Zbigniewa.

Drugą część otworzą fragmenty z Cyrulika sewilskiego Gioacchina Rossiniego – tytułu, który każdorazowo przyciąga tłumy widzów do łazienkowskiego Teatru Królewskiego. W repertuarze nie zabraknie także fragmentów z dzieł innych mistrzów opery epoki romantyzmu, jak Gaetana Donizettiego, Georges’a Bizeta czy Giuseppe Verdiego.
