How Nuria Rial 's soprano connects with the musicians of Les Cornets Noirs and pulls the music of the 17th century into the present day is an experience. The purest intonation, lightness and elegance as well as great vitality characterize this formation.

Specializing in the music of the Italian and German early Baroque, the instrumental ensemble Les Cornets Noirs - named after the horns traditionally wrapped in black leather in the Alps - has made an international name for itself. It gives guest performances throughout Europe, both with its own programs and in collaboration with vocal ensembles in performances of large-scale early Baroque music or the sacred music of Giovanni Gabrieli, Heinrich Schütz and their contemporaries.

The ensemble has worked with the soprano Nuria Rial for many years. Her fine, clear voice, the soft swinging timbre, musicality and expressiveness quickly opened all doors for her on an international level. Nuria Rial has dealt extensively with baroque music and historical performance practice and has recorded numerous CDs - since 2009 as an exclusive artist with Sony Classical.
