Cinc segles de cançó
Poques intèrprets vocals en la història de la música han interpretat cinc segles de música i ho han fet, a més a més, amb gust i rigor. Una d’aquesta és, sens dubte, Victoria de los Ángeles. Els seus inicis a l’agrupació musical Ars Musicae l’introduïren en el món de la música antiga, deixant unes sòlides bases per a un desenvolupament indiscutible de la seva carrera. Com a inici d’aquesta onzena edició del Festival, que commemora el centenari de Victoria de los Ángeles, volem retre homenatge a aquesta manera de fer música, de manera universal i abordant diferents escoles liederístiques i per això dos dels artistes residents de l’edició, com són Natalia Labourdette i Kunal Lahiry, oferiran aquest recital a duet amb Laurence Kilsby, un dels tenors que ha impactat amb més força al panorama líric internacional. Five centuries of song
Few vocal performers in the history of music have performed five centuries of music and done so with taste and rigor. One of these is, without a doubt, Victoria de los Ángeles. His beginnings in the musical group Ars Musicae introduced him to the world of early music, leaving solid foundations for an indisputable development of his career.
