Les goûts réunis, titre emblématique d’une collection d’œuvres du légendaire François Couperin, incarne la tentative des compositeurs baroques de fusionner les styles nationaux. Surnommé « le Grand », Couperin faisait partie d’une illustre famille de musiciens. Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, organiste à Paris, et Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, une excellente compositrice et claveciniste, ont composé des cantates reconnues pour leur expressivité, qui seront interprétées par le Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra. Les goûts réunis, the emblematic title of a collection of works by the legendary François Couperin, embodies the attempt of Baroque composers to merge national styles. Known as “the Great,” Couperin was part of a renowned family of musicians. Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, an organist in Paris, and Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, an excellent composer and harpsichordist, composed cantatas known for their expressiveness, which will be performed by the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra.
