The moon - a place of longing and projection surface for the fulfillment of all kinds of wishes that are not so easy to realize on earth. For the physics enthusiast Freddy Steppke, there is nothing bigger than space travel. His girlfriend Marie and her aunt are rather skeptical about the dreams of an expedition to the moon. All sorts of futuristic figures and a seductive woman, Luna, and her jealous prince, Shooting Star, are needed to shake the dream of a contradictory world design. Paul Lincke's burlesque-fantastic set operetta with well-known hits like "Give me a little bit of love" is presented here in a fresh and witty text version somewhere between the latest space research and science fiction.
