The staging of the opera "Armide "  at the Warsaw Chamber Opera was the Polish premiere. It took place on November 5, 2017, exactly 332 years after the original exhibition at the court of Louis XIV. The uniqueness of this staging is added by the fact that it was kept in the spirit and style of the original presentation, as noted by Piotr Krzyżanowski
The show was recorded and broadcast by TVP Kultura. It was watched by a record number of viewers, never before so numerous in the case of broadcasting opera performances.

All the post-premiere reviews in which Michael Moran's scientific analysis and publication in the prestigious "Opera Magazine" deserve special attention.

In all the post-premiere echoes, the commonly noted fact is that the performance was staged with the accompaniment of the Orchestra of Old Instruments of the Warsaw Chamber Opera Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense, which made music lovers hear Lully's phrases just as the composer and his contemporaries heard them. The fact that the Warsaw chamber musicians are the only opera company with a full-time set of early instruments places WOK in the strict world elite of performing in the spirit of the Baroque era.

Inscenizacja opery „Armide” w Warszawskiej Operze Kameralnej była polską prapremierą. Miała miejsce 5 listopada 2017 roku, dokładnie 332 lata po pierwotnym wystawieniu na dworze Ludwika XIV. Wyjątkowości tej inscenizacji dodaje fakt, że została ona utrzymana w duchu i stylu pierwotnej prezentacji, co zauważył Piotr Krzyżanowski (austriaart.pl):


Spektakl został zarejestrowany i wyemitowany przez TVP Kultura. Obejrzała go rekordowa liczba telewidzów, nigdy dotąd tak liczna w wypadku transmisji spektakli operowych.

W podobnym entuzjastycznym tonie były wszystkie popremierowe recenzje, w których na specjalną uwagę zasługuje iście naukowa analiza Michaela Morana oraz publikacja na łamach prestiżowego „Opera Magazine”.

We wszystkich popremierowych echach na pierwszy plan wysuwa się powszechnie odnotowany fakt, że spektakl został wystawiony z akompaniamentem Orkiestry Instrumentów Dawnych Warszawskiej Opery Kameralnej Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense, co sprawiło, że melomani usłyszeli frazy Lully’ego takimi, jak słyszał je kompozytor i jemu współcześni. To, że warszawscy kameraliści są jedynym zespołem operowym posiadającym etatowy zespół instrumentów dawnych, pozycjonuje WOK w ścisłej, światowej elicie wykonawstwa w duchu epoki Baroku.
