Oscar Marin-Reyes, born in Guatemala City in 1989, is an outstanding bass whose talent has been recognized at various stages of his young career. He began his vocal studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg under the guidance of John Thomasson, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Music. Subsequently, he continued his training in the operatic field at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg, where he completed his Master's in Opera under the renowned maestro Geert Smits. During his time at the Mozarteum University, Marin-Reyes participated in several notable productions, including roles such as "Il Notaio" and "Betto" in Puccini's opera "Gianni Schicchi," "Norton" in Rossini's "La Cambiale di Matrimonio," and "Crespel" in Offenbach's "Les Contes d'Hoffmann."
