Biography
https://www.olivierfred.com British and French, Olivier Fredj studied British Literature, drama and music. Coordinator of social projects in Europe and South Africa, he then worked as a cultural journalist before attending the Studio Théâtre d’Asnières. As a Stage Manager he worked with Adrian Noble, John Eliott Gardiner, Jonathan Kent/William Christie... He assists Robert Carsen, at the Chatelet with My Fair Lady (directs the revival at the Mariinski) and Singin’ In the Rain, (revived at the Grand Palais), in Aix en Provence with Rigoletto (revival in Geneva and Bolchoï theatre) and on the Magic Flute by Simon McBurney. At the Théâtre du Châtelet, he collaborates with Lee Blakeley, Fanny Ardant, and revives The Sound of Music (Emilio Sagi). In 2015, he directs Il Re Pastore by W.A M
