Megan Henry

Iowa-born soprano, Megan Henry has worked in opera, operetta, musical, theater, and film. She is currently based in Würzburg and Munich, Germany. Megan has won several awards and competitions, most recently she was a winner at the 32nd International Voice Competition at Schloss Rheinsberg, and recieved an encouragement award at this years DAAD competition. She is also a grant recipient of the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now stipend. On the operatic stage, Megan has sung Papagena and the 2nd Lady in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”, Rachelina in Paisiello’s “La Molinara”, Lucia in Brittens “The Rape of Lucretia”, Elisetta in Cimarosa’s “Il Matrimonio Segreto”, Savitri in Holst’s “Savitri”, Anne in Sondheims "A Little Night Music", and Lady Ella in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Patience”.
