Maltese mezzo soprano Marvic Monreal owns a beautiful and powerful voice with a rare combination of darkness and luminosity. Last September Marvic had her debut at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden with the role of Flosshilde in Barrie Kosky’s new production of Das Rheingold, conducted by Mro Antonio Pappano. Following with her debut at the Berlin Philharmonie performing Stabat Mater by Dvorak under the direction of Mro. Jakub Hrůša. She is currently singing in Baden Baden in the new production of Elektra conducted by Mro. Kirill Petrenko with the Berlin Philharmonic. Marvic studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music.
