Paris, FranceMost recently Dutch mezzo soprano Maria Warenberg (1995) made a successful debut as Annio in Mozart´s La clemenza di Tito. This production premiered at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and will also be presented in Vienna during the Wiener Festwochen later this season. In 2021 she debuted as Stéphano (C. Gounod/ Roméo et Juliette) at Opera Zuid. As a former member of the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam she made her debut in various opera productions, some of her roles include: The Foreign Singer from Postcard from Morocco/Argento( 2022), Suzanne from Un mari à la porte/Offenbach (2022) and Costanza from L’isola disabitata/Haydn, (2023) with the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century under the baton of Kenneth Montgomery. One of the highlights last season were performances at The Concertg
