French tenor, Lucas Pauchet, started his musical training on the violin and sang in choirs throughout his childhood. Alongside his regular education, he continued to study the violin, musical analysis and harmony, going on to concentrate on singing when he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. He will graduate from the Conservatoire following his Master's degree recital in June 2024. During his time at the Conservatoire, he has studied song, oratorio and opera, with roles including, among others, the Sailor in Purcell's Dido & Aeneas. Future plans at the start of his young career include a concert dedicated to Mozart at the prestigious Salle Gaveau in Paris this April, alongside Sabine Devieilhe, and his role debut as Count Almaviva in a young audience version of Rossini
