3Raccomandazionc per il Me Lorenzo Castriota Skanderbeg Cordiali saluti, Nel Aprile del 2002 ho conosciuto il M' Lorenzo Castriota Skanderbeg a l'Aquila. Per una settimana intera avevo l'occasione di vederlo al lavoro con I Solisti Aquilani e apprezarlo in tutti sensi. Il suo "savoir faire" come Direttore d'Orehestra, la capacità di creare un atmosfera di lavoro splendida e motivante e il suo grande talento di saper mettere in risalto una partitura con grande affinità e comprensione, mi ha impressionato profondemente. Questo dono - da una parte la consapevolczza della necessità di un lavoro disciplinato in un'atmosfera costruttiva e dall'altra la sinsibilità per le preferenze e le idee del Compositore - mi invitano a descrivere il M Castriota Skanderbeg con una definizione pittoresca: ,,Esistono vari gruppi di direttori d'orchestra, quelli con un'orecchio, di cui non si deve nemmeno perdere una parola, quelli con due orecchie, che fanno un buon lavoro, ma non lasciano traccia e poi ci sta un gruppo molto piccolo, quello con tre oreechic, uno per la musica, uno per l'orchestra e uno per il compositore. Il Maestro Skanderbeg fa parte di questo gruppo elittario moito prezioso, e ha un preggio in più perchè possiede anche a parte le tre orecchie anche un cuore grandissimo."" E per questa ragione che vorrei manifestare questo mio desiderio, che si aiutasse a questo giovane, estremamente talentato, Macstro a emergere c acquisire un posto importante nel mondo internazionale della musica. Questo è estremamente importante per noi compositori, perchè lc nostre opere dipendono da interpreti sensibilissimi, che lavorono mano nella mano con il compositore, per garantire un risultato eccellente. Il Maestro Castriota Skanderbeg è senza dubbio un ottimo garante, che saprà soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza interpretativa con una competenza estremamente sensibile e professionale. E un grande piacere per me, raccomandare il Maestro Lorenzo Castriota Skanderbeg Aryo Pärt Recommendation for Maestro LORENZO CASTRIOTA SKANDERBEG TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: In April 2002 I got to know M Lorenzo Castriota Skanderbeg at I' Aquila. The whole week I had the chance to see him work with the Solisti Aquilani and found great esteem for him. His secure way of working with the orchestra, creating a good and motivating work-atmosphere and his ability to bring a partitura to its fullest expression, had made a great and very positive impression on me. This talent - his knowledge on one hand of the importance of a disciplined work-strategy in a constructive work-atmosphere and on the other of the sensitiveness and understanding concerning the wishes and intent of the composer -1let me describe him with the following definition: "The three groups of conductors" There are conductors with one ear, of whom I don't want to talk at all, since they hardly can be called conductors. Then there are conductors with two ears, who form the group of musicians that do their job, but leave no trail. Then there is a much smaller group of conductors, those with three ears. These are the ones that use two ears to bring a musical work to life and still have one more ear, ready for the composer of the work himself. This group of rare but very able conductors hosts further the rarest kind, the conductors with three ears and a_heart. M Lorenzo Castriota Skanderbeg surely is one of the very finest to represent this group, he works with these three ears and furthermore has a very big heart! Having said the above about M Castriota Skanderbeg, I very much hope that the sensitivity of the Artistic Directors and other representatives of the Music World, will be able to help this Maestro to distinguish himself and emerge. This is of great importance for us composers, alive and those living forever through the works left behind for us, because the great musical works need to be sustained by sensitive interpreters that work hand in hand with the composer in order to assure a successful result.
