Lacy Sauter

American soprano, Lacy Sauter, is quickly becoming known for her vocal and dramatic versatility.  She recently completed her graduate studies at the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University under the tutelage of world-renowned soprano, Carol Vaness.    In 2015, she made her debut with The Atlanta Opera as Countess Ceprano/ Gilda cover in Rigoletto.  In February, she won First Place in Phoenix Opera's Southwest Vocal Competition.  She returned to Union Avenue Opera as Gilda in Rigoletto and in  October she makes her debut with Heartland Opera Theatre as Micaëla in Carmen.  She also looks forward to adding Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte to her repertoire in January 2016 with Nashville Opera.                      In 2014, she made her debut as Mimi in La Bohème directed by
