Mindhárom alkalommal a hangjánál volt, és a közönség ezt nagyon is értékelte....Elmondható, hogy ennél nehezen sikerülhetett volna jobban a debütálása ebben az álomszerepben, Domingo közvetlen partnereként kirobbanó formában énekelt. ***** Krisztián Cser became increasingly comfortable in his portrayal of Fiesco, and it's certain that the character will continue to evolve over the remaining four nights. Láthatóan érdemes lenne betanulnia a repertoárjáról még hiányzó „Walkür-Wotant” is, hiszen minden adottsága, színpadi jelenléte megvan hozzá. ... Frente a una Judit expresiva y seductora, el Barbazul de Cser, impávido en todo momento, se mostró como un ser frío y misterioso. Sin embargo, fue vocalmente sobrecogedor. Facing an expressive and seductive Judit, Cser's Bluebeard, imperturbable at all times, appeared as a cold and mysterious being. However, he was vocally overwhelming. Cser not only amazed with his volume but also with his natural high register, which at no time seemed forced.
Vocal performances were generally strong, but I have to give pride of place to bass Krisztián Cser as the priest Jorg, who had me sitting bolt upright in my seat from the moment he opened his mouth: it’s a voice with immense power, clarity and tautness of phrasing, which thrilled in every line.
Der Ungar Krisztián Cser sang den Blaubart und schon bei seinen ersten Tönen konnte man nur staunen: was für eine tiefe, volle, aber klare Stimme. Er sang ohne Druck, dafür mit viel Wärme und Offenheit. Auch die Sopranistin Ildikó Komlósi konnte trotz etwas viel Vibrato mit spannungsreicher Dynamik und intensiver Höhe überzeugen. Emotional-darstellerisch blieb diese konzertante Aufführung leider etwas unterkühlt.
The bass Krisztián Cser, is much younger and yet is already an accomplished Bluebeard. His was a melancholy character not willing to reveal much about himself. When Judith forced him to open the doors of his castle, his response to her increasing agitation was to maintain his steady and frightening outward calm. Bluebeard’s recitation about his previous wives, whom he praises as dawn, noon and dusk, was delivered in a whispered soliloquy, more frightening than any violent outbursts in its quiet ferociousness.
Ein Ring, vier Regisseurinnen: Verena Stoiber überzeugt zum Auftakt mit einem durchdachten und zutiefst menschlichen „Rheingold“. (...) Nur theoretisch macht es skeptisch: Will man als Frau engagiert werden, weil man eine Frau ist? Will man als Zuschauerin darauf gestoßen werden, dass der „weibliche“ Blick ein anderer ist, der männliche hingegen der Normalfall? Praktisch ist es offenbar sinnvoll und erforderlich, und der Chemnitzer Auftakt gab dem dortigen Intendanten Christoph Dittrich ohnehin recht. Lange kein so durchdachtes, gewitztes und ausgefeiltes „Rheingold“ gesehen wie das von Verena Stoiber.
