Biography
25-year-old baritone Jeremy Boulton of Australian, Greek and English descent joins the Opernstudio of the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. He attended the Georg Solti Accademia in 2023. His previous stage roles have included Marcello in La bohéme, Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Britten), Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro, title in Dido & Aeneas (Purcell), Baron Reintal in Die Opernprobe (Lortzing), Secret Police Agent in The Consul (Menotti), Death in Savitri (Holst) and Uberto in La serva padrona (Pergolesi). His concert repertoire includes Requiem (Mozart), Messiah and Dixit Dominus (Handel), Messe de Minuit (M.A. Charpentier), Cantatas BWV 38, 82, 166 (J.S. Bach), Regina Coeli (M.
