Biografie
Sopraan Irene Hoogveld studeerde in 2019 cum laude af aan de Guildhall School of Music & Drama in Londen als Guildhall Artist Master in Performance. Ze kreeg haar Bachelor cum laude in 2017 van ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten bij Claudia Patacca. Als een intens authentieke zangeres/actrice is Irene snel nieuwe rollen aan het vergaren. In 2021 zong Irene de Vreemde Prinses in Rusalka (Dvořák) met Opera Compact. Ook zong zij Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni) met Opera op ’t Hogeland. In 2020 werkte ze mee aan twee producties van Ritratto met De Nationale Opera. Producties als Santuzza met het Utrechts Studenten Koor en -Orkest (USKO) en Fiordiligi met Hurn Court Opera in Engeland stonden gepland maar werden geannuleerd door COVID-maatregelen.
