Artistic Director of Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theater, and winner of the VII Maria Callas Brazilian Singing Competition, Eric Herrero is a Brazilian tenor who is active both in America Latina and Europe. He participated in the European premiere of "Pedro Malazarte" (Camargo Guarnieri) at the Feldkirch Music Festival in Austria and has been performing frequently with the Luxembourg Philharmonia since 2013. At the Festival Pézenas Enchantée in France, he performed the title role in "Les Contes d’Hoffmann" (J. Offenbach) and Alfredo in "La Traviata" (G. Verdi), alongside opera icons such as Sylvia Sass, Aprile Millo, Alexander Anisimov, and Eliane Coelho.
