Voir le programme, les acteurs et l'équipeSoprano Caitlin Aloia enjoys a flourishing career in opera, chamber music, and art song. This season, Ms. Aloia makes her professional and role debut at the Santa Fe Opera as Proserpina in L’Orfeo, orchestrated by Nico Muhly. She will also appear in the choruses of Rusalka, Tosca, and The Flying Dutchman. Ms. Aloia was granted her third Encouragement Award in the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition at the district level. She will also perform the role of La Fortuna in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea at Rice University. Last summer, Caitlin was an Apprentice Artist at Santa Fe in the choruses of Carmen, Falstaff, and the world premiere of M. Butterfly. She is also the inaugural winner of the Carolyn Bailey Argento Fellowship for Vocal Performance, in addition to the first prize
