He received his first musical training in the Dresden Kreuzchor, where he was awarded the “Rudolf Mauersberger Scholarship” in 2005. During his civil service in Munich he was a member of the Munich Philharmonic Choir and the Munich Vocal Ensemble. He was also a guest at the group for early music in Munich. In late summer 2006 he could be seen in the ensemble “così facciamo” under the direction of Hans Huyssen as tenor in the opera “Dido & Aeneas” by Henry Purcell in Gasteig Munich, in Minden and Villach (Austria).
