Biography
Anisa Kureishi began her music studies with piano at the age of four and with the oboe at age eight. At age twelve, she began classical voice training. In 2009, Anisa Kureishi was selected to perform Mahler’s 4th Symphony with Darrell Ang and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra for the President and Prime Minister of Singapore in the President’s Young Performer Concert. In 2013, she was a prize winner at the Lotte Lehmann Woche in Perleberg, Germany, and pursued her vocal education with Angelo Raciti in Berlin. In 2015, she appeared as Zorah in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Ruddigore with the Harvard Gilbert and Sullivan Players in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
