The bass-baritone Andrei Sharapov graduated with a Bachelor of Music honors degree in classical singing at the ”Russian Gnessin” Academy of Music under one of the leading soloists of the Bolshoi Theater Prof. Malchenko in Moscow. Already during his studies, he made his debut in the university theater in the young opera studio in leading roles such as Count Almaviva in “Le nozze di Figaro”, Papageno in the opera The Magic Flute, Schaunard in La Boheme, Baron Douphol in La Traviata. Andrej also attended international master classes in Russia, Germany, Bulgaria and Italy with Barbara Frittoli, Fabio Armiliato, Leo Nucci, Sergei Leiferkurs, Krum Galabov, Vito Maria Brunetti, Bernd Weikl and others.
