View cast and crewA native of India, Anando received degrees in Natural Sciences from both Delhi and Cambridge Universities. He pursued his vocal studies with some distinguished teachers, including Kenneth Woollam, Richard Nunn, Enrico Fissore, Ian Comboy, Glyn Paul and Nicolai Gedda. Anando was a finalist in the UK National Mozart Competition in 2007 and the Wagner Society Bayreuth Bursary Competition in 2012. His significant operatic debut took place in 2006 when he sang Rodolfo (La bohème) at the Belgrade National Opera, Serbia. It was followed by a period of intense learning of new roles and performing across the UK, including Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Don Jose (Carmen), Alfredo (La traviata), The Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Cavaradossi (Tosca) and more.
