Study
British baritone Alistair Shelton-Smith studied at the Royal College of Music in London with Kenneth Woollam, at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe with Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll, and at the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam with Margreet Honig, graduating with distinction in the title role of Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' in 2008.

Alistair is a leading exponent of Eddy, the ill-fated protagonist in Mark-Anthony Turnage's first opera, 'Greek'. He has sung the role to critical acclaim, in both English and German, for the Dag in de Branding Festival (NL), Staatsoper Hannover, and most recently for Music Theatre Wales at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden's Linbury Studio.
