In 2008, the spectacular musical "Zorro" about the heroic man with the mask and the sharp blade celebrated its premiere in London's West End and was subsequently successful worldwide. The fact that the music of the Gipsy Kings around the famous flamenco guitarist Jose Reyes sounds in this work guarantees incomparably rousing and atmospheric rhythms and Spanish flair. The songs of the Gipsy Kings, which became world hits in the 80s and 90s, such as "Bamboleo", "Djobi Djoba" or "Baila Me!" are still celebrated and in everyone's ears. From the proven pen of John Cameron come more wonderful melodies that drive the suspenseful plot forward.

The focus is on the fight between the unequal brothers Ramon and Diego de la Vega, who, disguised as a mysterious avenger with a black mask, is celebrated by the people as "Zorro". He tries to bring his brother, who oppresses and exploits his people as a cruel governor in Spanish-colonized Los Angeles after the death of his father, to reason incognito and to protect his childhood friend Luisa from being forced into a marriage with Ramon. With drawn sword he fights with bravura for law, justice and love.

Er versucht seinen Bruder, der im spanisch kolonialisierten Los Angeles nach dem Tod des Vaters als grausamer Statthalter sein Volk unterdrückt und ausbeutet, inkognito zur Räson zu bringen und seine Jugendfreundin Luisa vor einer Zwangsheirat mit Ramon zu bewahren. Mit gezücktem Degen ficht er mit Bravour für Recht, Gerechtigkeit und die Liebe.
