Myślą przewodnią koncertu Chóru NFM, Chóru Dziewczęcego NFM, Chóru Chłopięcego NFM i Zespołu Wokalnego „Rondo” jest jednocząca siła śpiewu. Znakomici artyści zaprezentują dzieła dziesięciu kompozytorów, w tym dwa utwory, które podczas niniejszego koncertu będą miały swoje prawykonania.

Pierwszym, premierowym, dziełem jest Viderunt omnes fines terrae Pawła Łukaszewskiego. Ten płodny artysta i pedagog (profesor Uniwersytetu Muzycznego Fryderyka Chopina) tworzy przede wszystkim utwory sakralne. Należy do nich także niniejsza kompozycja. Tytuł tłumaczy się jako „Ujrzały wszystkie krańce ziemi zbawienie Boga naszego”. Autorem Laudate Dominum omnes gentes także jest twórca polski. Grzegorz Miśkiewicz specjalizuje się w pisaniu sakralnej muzyki chóralnej, jednak ma na swoim koncie również utwory instrumentalne oraz muzykę filmową. Podobnie jak dla polskich kompozytorów, również dla Francisa Poulenca niezwykle ważna była wiara. Choć kojarzy się go często z muzyką lekką i dowcipną, to jego dzieła religijne często utrzymane są w tonie poważnym, niemal surowym. Należy do nich także krótki motet Ave verum z 1952 roku, przeznaczony na chór żeński. Muzykę francuską reprezentuje też w programie koncertu uroczysta Messe brève z 1875 roku Leo Delibesa, tworzącego w idiomie romantycznym 

Wysłuchamy również dzieł artystów angielskich. Bring us, O Lord God oraz Faire is the Heaven są autorstwa Williama Henry’ego Harrisa, organisty, kompozytora i pedagoga. Pisał on na potrzeby sławnego Festiwalu Trzech Chórów, dyrygował także zespołami wokalnymi podczas koronacji Jerzego VI w 1937 roku i Elżbiety II w 1953 roku. Z kolei Lux aeterna napisane zostało przez Edwarda Elgara, jednego z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych kompozytorów pochodzących z tego kraju, tworzących w pierwszych dekadach XX wieku. Rzeczony utwór to przeróbka Nimroda, czyli sławnej dziewiątej wariacji z cyklu zatytułowanego Enigma. 

W programie koncertu znalazła się także napisana w 1987 roku Pieśń Cherubinów Krzysztofa Pendereckiego, będąca z jednej strony przejawem trwającej praktycznie całe życie tego twórcy fascynacji kulturą muzyczną prawosławia, z drugiej zaś – prezentem na sześćdziesiąte urodziny dla przyjaciela, sławnego wirtuoza wiolonczeli, Mścisława Rostropowicza.

Urodzony w 1991 roku w Zakopanem Mikołaj Ziółkowski to kompozytor obecnie związany zawodowo z wrocławską Akademią Muzyczną. Podczas koncertu artyści dokonają prawykonania jego Glorii, przeznaczonej na trzy chóry mieszane i dwa chóry dziecięce. Autorem tajemniczego, wyciszonego Magnificat, które również usłyszymy, jest współczesny francuski twórca – urodzony w 1982 roku Jean-Charles Gandrille. Prawykonanie dzieła miało miejsce w czerwcu 2016 roku w paryskiej katedrze Notre Dame. Cały koncert zwieńczy radosna kompozycja Ralpha Vaughana Williamsa – Let All the World in Every Corner Sing – wyrażająca żywe i dziś przekonanie angielskiego artysty o jednoczącej sile śpiewu.

The keynote of the concert of the NFM Choir, the NFM Girls' Choir, the NFM Boys' Choir and the Rondo Vocal Ensemble is the unifying power of singing. Outstanding artists will present works by ten composers, including two pieces that will have their first performances during this concert.

The first, premiere work is Paweł Łukaszewski's Viderunt omnes fines terrae . This prolific artist and teacher (professor of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music) creates primarily sacred works. This composition is also one of them. The title translates as "All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God." Author of Laudate Dominum omnes gentesis also a Polish artist. Grzegorz Miśkiewicz specializes in writing sacred choral music, but he has also composed instrumental works and film music. Just as for Polish composers, faith was also extremely important for Francis Poulenc. Although he is often associated with light and humorous music, his religious works are often maintained in a serious, almost austere tone. They also include the short motet Ave verum from 1952, written for a female choir. French music is also represented in the program of the concert by the festive Messe brève from 1875 by Leo Delibes, who created in the Romantic idiom 

We will also listen to the works of English artists. Bring us, O Lord God and Faire is the Heaven by William Henry Harris, organist, composer and teacher. He wrote for the famous Three Choirs Festival and conducted the vocal ensembles at the coronation of George VI in 1937 and Elizabeth II in 1953. Lux aeterna, on the other hand, was written by Edward Elgar, one of the most recognizable composers from this country, creating in the first decades of the 20th century. The work in question is a reworking of Nimrod, the famous ninth variation from the cycle entitled Enigma. 

The program of the concert also included Krzysztof Penderecki's Song of the Cherubs, written in 1987, which, on the one hand, is a manifestation of the composer's lifelong fascination with the Orthodox musical culture, and on the other hand, a sixtieth birthday present for his friend, the famous cello virtuoso, Mstislav Rostropovich .

Born in 1991 in Zakopane, Mikołaj Ziółkowski is a composer currently professionally associated with the Academy of Music in Wrocław. During the concert, the artists will premiere his Gloria, written for three mixed choirs and two children's choirs. The author of the mysterious, muted Magnificat , which we will also hear, is a contemporary French artist - Jean-Charles Gandrille, born in 1982. The premiere of the work took place in June 2016 in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The whole concert will be crowned with a joyful composition by Ralph Vaughan Williams - Let All the World in Every Corner Sing - expressing the English artist's still vivid conviction about the unifying power of singing.
