Yoav Levanon is an extraordinary talent in the piano firmament. Born in 2004, he first performed on stage at the age of 6, played his first Rachmaninov concerto aged 13, and gave his first recital at Verbier at the age of 15, attracting considerable attention. Two years later he performed at Piano aux Jacobins, then in the Fondation Louis Vuitton concerts and at Radio France in the autumn of 2021, where he presented an unusually demanding programme for such a young musician (Chopin, Liszt, Ravel etc.). He is quite fearless and his appetite for his instrument is boundless, as is demonstrated by this recital marking his debut on the stage at avenue Montaigne with a highly ambitious programme of "Studies" by Chopin, Schumann and Liszt. This young pianist, who has not yet turned twenty, is certainly one to watch.

Yoav Levanon est un OVNI de la planète piano. Il est né en 2004, apparaît sur scène dès l’âge de 6 ans, interprète son premier concerto de Rachmaninov à 13, donne son premier récital dans le cadre du festival de Verbier à 15 où il se fait plus que remarquer. On le retrouve deux ans plus tard à Piano aux Jacobins, puis dans le cadre des concerts de la Fondation Louis Vuitton et enfin à Radio France à l’automne 2021 où il présente un programme qui témoigne d’une rare exigence musicale à un âge si jeune (Chopin, Liszt, Ravel…). Rien ne lui fait peur ni ne l’arrête dans son appétit pour l’instrument. Pour preuve, ce récital marquant sa première venue sur la scène de l’avenue Montaigne, où il a composé un programme « Etudes » des plus ambitieux en convoquant Chopin, Schumann et Liszt. Un jeune pianiste de moins de vingt ans à suivre sans modération.
