The spectacular concert at the Waldbühne in Berlin is always a highlight of the summer tours of the Divan Orchestra and Maestro Daniel Barenboim. 
On 19 August the musicians will be joined by pianist Martha Argerich to perform Beethoven's Concerto No. 1. The programme will also include Brahms' second Symphony. Berlin friends, this is a performance not to be missed!

Im Rahmen der Sommertournee des West-Eastern Divan Orchestra sind Daniel Barenboim und Igor Levit erstmals gemeinsam zu erleben. Beim alljährlichen Opern-Air-Konzert in der Waldbühne Berlin sind zwei Repertoireklassiker zu hören: Levit ist der Solist in Beethovens Klavierkonzert Nr. 1, einem der beliebtesten frühen Werke des Komponisten. Im zweiten Konzertteil leitet Daniel Barenboim die lyrische Zweite Symphonie von Brahms.

The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra’s summer tour brings Daniel Barenboim and Igor Levit together for the very first time. Two repertoire classics are on the program for the traditional open-air concert at Berlin’s Waldbühne: Levit is the soloist in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1, one of the composer’s most beloved early works. In the concert’s second half, Maestro Barenboim leads the cheerful and lyrical Second Symphony by Johannes Brahms.
