Tell me, do you believe that wizards and fairies exist in the world? Do you want to go to the Magical Land? Then, together with the girl Ellie and her dog Toto, we go on an unusual journey. American writer Lyman Frank Baum invented the story about a girl who got to Wonderland. His fairy tale, so loved by children, is called "The Wizard of Oz". Once it ended up on the shelf of a bookcase in one apartment. The two boys often looked into their father's office in search of new interesting books. They really wanted to read a book about the Wizard of Oz, but they couldn't - it was written in English. And then their father decided to translate this amazing fairy tale into a language understandable to children. Only the girl Dorothy became Ellie, and the land of Oz became the Magical Land. Thus, a new fairy tale was born. She received the name "Wizard of the Emerald City". Its author was the Russian writer Oleksandr Volkov.

The heroes of this wonderful story - Ellie, Totoshka, Scarecrow, Iron Woodcutter, Lion invite you on a journey through the Magic Land of classical music. After all, being on the stage of our theater, this fairy tale turned into a musical story. Therefore, all the characters can now not only talk, but also sing - even little Totoshka! They will introduce you to the works of famous composers. We will be glad if you want to come back here again!

Libretto by Tamara Kaganovich based on Oleksandr Volkov's fairy tale "The Wizard of the Emerald City".

The part of Ellie is performed by Yelyzaveta Skorba, Daryna Soroka, and Amina Shapko, pupils of the children's choir "Pearls of Odessa".

The part of Totoshka is performed by pupils of the children's choir "Pearls of Odesa" Natalia Boryak, Artem Dede, Sofia Petrova, Georgy Savostyanov.

Opera and ballet artists of the theater, children's choir "Pearls of Odessa" (director - Larisa Garbuz), children's choir "Zernyatka" (director - Anastasia Garbuz).

Любий друже!

Скажи, ти віриш, що на світі існують чарівники та феї? Хочеш потрапити до Чарівної країни? Тоді разом з дівчинкою Еллі та її песиком Тото ми вирушаємо у незвичайну подорож. Історію про дівчинку, що потрапила до Чарівної країни, вигадав американський письменник Лаймен Френк Баум. Його казка, що так полюбилася дітям, називається «Чарівник Країни Оз». Якось вона опинилася на полиці книжкової шафи в одній квартирі. Двоє хлопчиків частенько заглядали до кабінету свого батька у пошуках нових цікавих книжок. Їм дуже захотілося прочитати книгу про чарівника з країни Оз, але вони не змогли – вона була написана англійською. І тоді їхній батько вирішив перекласти цю дивовижну казку зрозумілою дітям мовою. Ось тільки дівчинка Дороті стала Еллі, а країна Оз – Чарівною країною. Так народилася нова казка. Вона отримала назву «Чарівник Смарагдового міста». Її автором став російський письменник Олександр Волков.

Герої цієї чудової історії – Еллі, Тотошка, Страшила, Залізний Дроворуб, Лев запрошують тебе у подорож Чарівною країною класичної музики. Адже, опинившись на сцені нашого театру, ця казка перетворилася на Музичну історію. Тому всі персонажі тепер вміють не лише розмовляти, а й співати – навіть, маленький Тотошка! Вони познайомлять тебе з творами відомих композиторів. Ми будемо раді, якщо ти захочеш повернутись сюди знову!

Партію Тотошки виконують вихованці дитячого хору «Перлини Одеси» Наталія Боряк, Артем Деде, Софія Петрова, Георгій Савостьянов.
