Το διάσημο φωνητικό σύνολο από τη Βρετανία
Το σύνολο The Queen's Six ιδρύθηκε το 2008, έτος της 450ης επετείου από την άνοδο της βασίλισσας Ελισάβετ Α' -από την οποία και πήρε το όνομά του- στον θρόνο.
Με έδρα το Κάστρο Windsor, μέλη του συνόλου είναι και τραγουδιστές του παρεκκλησίου St George's Chapel, που βρίσκεται εντός των τειχών του Κάστρου. Η Χορωδία του Παρεκκλησίου, που αποτελείται από αγόρια σοπράνο και δώδεκα ενήλικες επαγγελματίες άνδρες τραγουδιστές, συμμετέχει σε οκτώ θείες λειτουργίες την εβδομάδα καθώς και σε ιδιωτικές και κρατικές εκδηλώσεις, συχνά ενώπιον της Βασιλικής Οικογένειας.
Πλέον, η Lissie και οι Tom, Nick, Dom, Andrew και Simon ενώθηκαν για να προσφέρουν το μοναδικό τους στυλ σε ένα πολύ ευρύτερο κοινό. The famous vocal ensemble from Britain
The Queen's Six was founded in 2008, the year of the 450th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth I - from whom it takes its name - to the throne.
Based at Windsor Castle, members of the ensemble include singers from St George's Chapel, located within the Castle walls. The Chapel Choir, consisting of boy sopranos and twelve adult professional male singers, performs at eight divine services a week as well as private and state functions, often before the Royal Family.
Now Lissie and Tom, Nick, Dom, Andrew and Simon have joined together to bring their unique style to a much wider audience. Their repertoire extends far beyond the purely sacred: from early simple hymns, rich Renaissance polyphony, raucous love songs and folk songs to rousing jazz and pop arrangements.
