After I posted this performance, many people here in YouTube
have loved it so much. So, I deleted the old one, and posted this 
new one. This has much better quality than the old one.
Anyway, this is a stunning, fabulous and fascinating rendition.

This performance is one of Sumi Jo's DVD
titled "Sumi Jo in Paris - For my Father" 
for 20th anniversary of her internatinal debut. 

This performance was dedicated to her father.
When she was singing here in Paris, the funeral
of her father was going in Korea. 

So, she dedicated this recital to his father, 
especially the last song, Ave Maria of Schubert.

For its 14 th concert to promote Peace in the World, the association Echos Korea hosts a major international voice in the person of the South Korean soprano Sumi Jo. Along with her international career, she has always shown herself to be committed to world peace and, as such, has been an ambassador for UNESCO since 2003. Praised around the world for her virtuosity, precision and warmth of her skills. voice as for her musical sense, she gives this evening, in the company of Florian Sempaey and Ki-Up Lee, a program which combines the greatest opera arias and traditional works of the Korean repertoire.

Pour son 14e concert pour promouvoir de la Paix dans le Monde, l’association Echos de la Corée accueille l'une des grandes voix internationale en la personne de la soprano sud-coréenne Sumi Jo. Parallèlement à sa carrière internationale, elle s’est toujours montrée engagée pour la paix dans le monde et est, à ce titre, ambassadrice pour l’UNESCO depuis 2003. Louée dans le monde entier pour sa virtuosité, la précision et la chaleur de sa voix comme pour son sens musical, elle donne ce soir, en compagnie de Florian Sempaey et Ki-Up Lee un programme où se mêlent les plus grands airs d’opéra et des œuvres traditionnelles du répertoire coréen.
