Élément essentiel du processus créatif, le temps modèle, transforme et révèle les artistes à eux-mêmes. Dans ce nouveau projet en trio, la saxophoniste et flûtiste Sophie Alour, forte d’un imposant parcours en solo (huit albums) émaillé de grandes rencontres (Rhoda Scott, Wynton Marsalis, Bireli Lagrene…), poursuit malicieusement sa quête d'elle-même, libérée de toute idée de performance. Du hard rock au baroque en passant par la pop ou des accents maliens, elle détourne et mêle en alchimiste, avec poésie et humour, les codes de toutes ces musiques. Entre la guitare acoustique de Pierre Perchaud et le violoncelle de Guillaume Latil, qui offre la possibilité́ d'un chant à deux voix avec le sax ténor dont il partage la tessiture, Sophie Alour s'empare avec gourmandise de la contrainte imposée par cette formation, pour en faire un outil d'écriture et de jeu à part entière.
