Nous ne sommes pas près d’oublier ses relectures à couper le souffle de Lana del Rey ou de Sia – c’était à l’automne 2022, dans la grande salle de l’Opéra, où elle était l’une des solistes de “Déjà Vu”, l’audacieux programme de reprises pop du Trio SR9. Telle est Sandra Nkaké : une auteure, compositrice et chanteuse dont la présence et la voix laissent une empreinte indélébile sur les âmes qui ont l’heur de la croiser. Un an après, la voici à l’Amphi qui déploie les chansons de son album Scars. Un disque à son image : entier et plein d’éclat(s), travaillé par les rêves et les épreuves d’une combattante qui, de ses cicatrices, a tiré la force d’inscription de son chant et de son écriture.
