Gemessen an der Größe des Landes hat Ungarn in der Vergangenheit immer wieder eine geradezu unglaubliche Zahl herausragender Musikerinnen und Musiker hervorgebracht. Jetzt könnte dieses Who’s who um einen Namen erweitert werden: um die Geigerin Júlia Pusker.

Die Liste ihrer bisherigen Recitals wird in dieser Saison um die beteiligten Konzerthäuser der European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) verlängert. Júlia Pusker, die einer ungarischen Musiker-Familie entstammt, möchte »jeden Tag aufs Neue den unverwechselbaren Klang einer Geige herausfinden, vor allem ihre Zartheit, die mir noch wichtiger erscheint als das Kraftvolle.« Die Klangpoetin Júlia Pusker präsentiert mit Christia Hudziy eine »Hommage to Szigeti«. Auch Joseph Szigeti zählt zur Ahnenreihe herausragenden ungarischer Musiker.

Considering the size of the country, Hungary has always produced an incredible number of outstanding musicians in the past. Now this who's who could be expanded to include one name: the violinist Júlia Pusker.

The list of her previous recitals will be extended this season to include the participating concert halls of the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO). Júlia Pusker, who comes from a Hungarian family of musicians, wants to “discover the unmistakable sound of a violin every day, especially its tenderness, which seems to me even more important than the powerful.” The sound poet Júlia Pusker presents a “homage” with Christia Hudziy to Szigeti«. Joseph Szigeti also belongs to the lineage of outstanding Hungarian musicians.
