Jan Michiels, 57-year-old Belgian pianist, established himself on the music scene with victory at the 1991 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, is an interpreter of fine thought, immersed in his time, creator of poetic correspondences. A faithful image of this is the program of this concert which intertwines, following the reflections on the time of Carlo Rovelli, the Preludes of Chopin and Debussy, the Studies of Ligeti and the Stanze of the Italian composer and poet Osvaldo Coluccino.
