Dans ce récital, la mezzo-soprano Lucile Richardot, au timbre troublant et généreux, est Armide, Médée et Circé, ces magiciennes d’une grande beauté, des femmes de pouvoir, soumises à leur père, leur mari, leur amoureux, qui veulent reprendre leur place et s’affranchir des lois.
Un feu qui couve sous la cendre, le calme avant la tempête, la tendre douceur, la tristesse et la plainte d’être délaissée… puis soudain c’est le déchaînement de fureur. Derrière les pouvoirs ensorceleurs ou maléfiques des Magiciennes de la mythologie ou de la littérature épique se cachent souvent une même médaille et son revers : l’amour et le désespoir de ne pas être aimée.

Les artistes ont pioché dans les œuvres de Haendel, Cavalli, Charpentier, Lully, Webb, Purcell, et nous font découvrir une cantate peu jouée de Colin de Blamont

In this recital, the mezzo-soprano Lucile Richardot, with a disturbing and generous timbre, is Armide, Médée and Circé, these magicians of great beauty, women of power, submissive to their father, their husband, their lover, who want take their place and free themselves from the laws.
A fire smoldering under the ashes, the calm before the storm, the tender sweetness, the sadness and the complaint of being abandoned… then suddenly it is the unleashing of fury. Behind the bewitching or malevolent powers of the Magicians of mythology or epic literature often hides the same coin and its reverse: love and the despair of not being loved.

The artists have drawn from the works of Handel, Cavalli, Charpentier, Lully, Webb, Purcell, and make us discover a little played cantata by Colin de Blamont
