When Lorenzo Viotti took office as chief conductor, he had one heartfelt wish: to give a concert every year with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and the Choir of Dutch National Opera. In his first concert of the season, that wish comes true with Poulenc's Gloria . Viotti also explores the depth of Mahler's grandiose Symphony No. 1.
