Για τα 250 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του Λούντβιχ βαν Μπετόβεν αλλά και για την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα της Γυναίκας, η μέτζο σοπράνο Λένια Ζαφειροπούλου και η πιανίστα Ζωή Ζενιώδη παρουσιάζουν ερωτικά τραγούδια του μεγάλου κλασικού συνθέτη. Αριστοτεχνικά και δυναμικά, μελαγχολικά αλλά και παιγνιώδη, τα τραγούδια του Μπετόβεν ισορροπούν απαράμιλλα ανάμεσα στο φωτεινό και ανάλαφρο ερωτικό όραμα του ροκοκό, γεμάτο ακόμα από αρκαδικές, βουκολικές αποχρώσεις, και στα βαθιά και πιο υπαρξιστικά πάθη του νεογέννητου ρομαντισμού. Τα τραγούδια του Μπετόβεν απαιτούν δεξιοτεχνία, ακρίβεια, εκφραστική δύναμη και τόλμη από τους ερμηνευτές τους και σηματοδοτούν την αφετηρία για όλους τους μεταγενέστερους συνθέτες του έντεχνου τραγουδιού.

For the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth and for International Women's Day, mezzo-soprano Lenia Zafiropoulou and pianist Zoi Zeniodis present love songs by the great classical composer. Masterful and dynamic, melancholic yet playful, Beethoven's songs balance incomparably between the bright and light love vision of the rococo, still full of arcadian, bucolic nuances, and the deep and more existential passions of the newborn romanticism. Beethoven's songs demand skill, precision, expressive power and boldness from their performers and mark the starting point for all later composers of art song.
