Après le festival ManiFeste-2023, deuxième temps du programme Janus conçu par le Centre de musique baroque de Versailles et l’Ircam. Une rencontre rare entre le présent et le siècle classique, entre la création avec électronique et la musique vocale des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. La compositrice lituanienne Justina Repečkaitė, qui connaît la musique vocale ancienne, souhaite écrire sur le jeu de texture lié à la mue des voix d’enfant – une problématique qui touche la Maîtrise du CMBV chaque année. Quant à Jug Marković, marqué par le baroque français, il ouvre son esthétique dans une œuvre à cinq voix.

In the wake of the ManiFeste-2023 festival, the Janus program, developed by the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles and IRCAM, is back in full swing. A rare encounter between the present and the age of classical music, between electronic creation and vocal music from the 17th and 18th centuries. Lithuanian composer Justina Repečkaitė, a connoisseur of early vocal music, wants to write about the textural interplay associated with the moulting of children's voices - an issue that affects the CMBV's Maîtrise every year. As for Jug Marković, marked by the French Baroque, he opens up his aesthetic in a work for five voices.
