The Responsorium Ensemble devoted itself to the research and interpretation of the vocal and instrumental repertoire of the seventeenth century, with a special focus on the achievements of the older Croatian musical heritage. It works in accordance with the principles of historically based performing practice of early music using replicas of authentic musical instruments and respecting scientifically based stylistic guidelines. In search of authentic sounds, the Ensemble has realized a number of successful projects, among which are several contemporary premieres of works by Croatian baroque composers. The fruit of the Ensemble's intensive musicological activity is the sound carrier of Tomaso Cecchino: Madrigali et canzonette a tre voci 1617 (Croatia Records, 2017), which was published on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the printing of the collection. The Responsorium Ensemble regularly collaborates with world-renowned performers of early music and happily shares its dedication with a loyal audience, giving concerts at numerous festivals in the homeland (Varaždin Baroque Evenings, Musical Evenings in St. Donat, Concerts in Euphrasian, Dvigrad Festival, BaRoMus Festival) and abroad ( Austria, Germany, Denmark, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia). At the 49th Varaždin Baroque Evenings in 2019, the Ensemble won the Ivan Lukačić Award for the musicological work and performing range of the ensemble for the project Tomaso Cecchino: Psalmi, missa et alia cantica (1619).

Ansambl Responsorium posvetio se istraživanju i interpretaciji vokalnog i instrumentalnog repertoara sedamnaestog stoljeća s posebnim osvrtom na ostvarenja starije hrvatske glazbene baštine. Djeluje u skladu s načelima povijesno utemeljene izvođačke prakse rane glazbe koristeći replike autentičnih glazbala te poštujući znanstveno utemeljene stilske smjernice. U potrazi za autentičnim zvucima Ansambl je realizirao niz uspješnih projekata među kojima je nekoliko suvremenih praizvedbi djela hrvatskih baroknih skladatelja. Plod intenzivne muzikološke aktivnosti Ansambla nosač je zvuka Tomaso Cecchino: Madrigali et canzonette a tre voci 1617. (Croatia Records, 2017.) koji je objavljen povodom 400. obljetnice tiskanja zbirke. Ansambl Responsorium redovito surađuje s priznatim svjetskim izvođačima rane glazbe i svoju posvećenost radosno dijeli s vjernom publikom, koncertirajući na brojnim festivalima u domovini (Varaždinske barokne večeri, Glazbene večeri u Sv. Donatu, Koncerti u Eufrazijani, Dvigrad festival, BaRoMus festival) i u inozemstvu (Austrija, Njemačka, Danska, Slovenija, Češka, Slovačka). Na 49. Varaždinskim baroknim večerima Ansambl je 2019. godine za projekt Tomaso Cecchino: Psalmi, missa et alia cantica (1619.) osvojio Nagradu Ivan Lukačić za muzikološki rad i izvodilački domet ansambla.
