Welcome to Hollywood – dream factory and place of longing! Almost 100 years ago, sound films conquered cinemas and became the forge for legendary melodies and unforgettable soundtracks. Conductor Peter Christian Feigel, together with the State Operetta Orchestra, dedicates himself to the masters of film music and performs evergreens by American songwriters as well as dramatic blockbuster titles. He will be joined as star presenter by the German-American entertainer and singer Gayle Tufts, who will present her favorite numbers from classic film musicals and provide first-class entertainment.
The journey through the history of cinema takes us from the infinite expanses of space, where in the award-winning compositions of John Williams ETencounter, to the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park and to the fantasy kingdom of Oz with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.
