La saison du Ballet de l’Opéra s’ouvre par un rendez‑vous unique et désormais régulier, un gala exceptionnel qui réunit sur scène les Étoiles, les Premiers Danseurs et l’ensemble du Corps de Ballet, sans oublier les élèves de l’École de Danse. Au programme, un spectacle éblouissant avec en ouverture le somptueux Défilé du Ballet lequel, en dévoilant la scène jusqu’au Foyer de la Danse, rend hommage aux intentions architecturales de Charles Garnier. Deux entrées au répertoire accompagnent Diamants de George Balanchine, hommage du chorégraphe à l’école de danse russe : Trois Gnossiennes de Hans van Manen et Faun de Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, pas de deux mystérieux et délicats où l’émotion émane de la musique et du mouvement.
