Die Schöpfung – Erde an Zukunft: Concert Various

The major singing project "The Creation: Earth to the Future" is part of the art education program "BachBewegt!Singen!" of the International Bach Academy in Stuttgart, which gives young people access to music. For this, composer and culture manager Karsten Gundermann adapted Joseph Haydn's »Creation« for the present. His goal: to create a great work of art that moves people to the core and encourages them to take responsibility for our endangered environment. A total of 1,500 students joined him and worked on the musical masterpiece for many months. In May 2022, the project will be made accessible to the public seven times in the greater Stuttgart area, each with 200 participants. A highlight is also celebrated in the Ludwigsburg Forum, when the students, building a bridge with the Gaechinger Cantorey under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann, invite the audience to sing along. A documentary film about the entire project will be released in July 2022.
