Kur “Don Pasquale” u shfaq për herë të parë në janar 1843 në Paris, Gaetano Donizetti kishte një karierë  të  konsoliduar në botën e operës italiane dhe ishte në kulmin e pjekurisë së tij artistike.
Ai kishte pasur sukses të madh me operan “Lucia di Lammermoor”, “La Fille du Règiment” dhe vepra të tjera, por nuk kishte arritur të merrte pozicionin e lakmuar të Drejtorit Real “Collegio di Musica” në Napoli.

Kjo operë komike në tre akte, e kompozuar në njëmbëdhjetë ditë dhe e shfaqur në “Thé’tre des Italien” në Paris më 3 janar 1843, nga pikëpamja libretiste ë shtë  një vepër ku ritë m i ngushtë dhe teatraliteti i shkathët e bëjnë atë në  aspektin operistike, të  shkëlqyer.

Tipike për Don Pasquale është efektiviteti me të cilin lirika dhe melankolia i kundërvihen buzëqeshjes djallëzore apo edhe të qeshurës së sinqertë të krijuar nga mjeshtri.

Libreti i Don Pasquale i nënshkruar M. A. (Giovanni Ruffini), u bazua në një libreto të Angelo Anelli, të muzikuar nga Stefano Pavesi në 1810 me titullin “Ser Marcantonio”.

A premiere reimagined in new directorial dimensions, special vocal preparations for soloists and expression of the promising new generation and the future of Albanian Opera.

About Action

When "Don Pasquale" was first performed in January 1843 in Paris, Gaetano Donizetti had a consolidated career in the world of Italian opera and was at the height of his artistic maturity.
He had great success with the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor", "La Fille du Règiment" and other works, but he had not managed to get the coveted position of Real Director of the "Collegio di Musica" in Naples.

This comic opera in three acts, composed in eleven days and performed at the Thé'tre des Italien in Paris on January 3, 1843, is, from the librettist's point of view, a work in which its tight rhythms and skilful theatricality make it in terms operatic, excellent.

Typical of Don Pasquale is the effectiveness with which lyricism and melancholy are contrasted with the devilish smile or even sincere laughter created by the master.

The libretto of Don Pasquale, signed MA (Giovanni Ruffini), was based on a libretto by Angelo Anelli, set to music by Stefano Pavesi in 1810 under the title "Ser Marcantonio".
