The Meininger Hofkapelle presents a festive program for the whole family for Christmas. Together with the soloists and choir of the Meiningen State Theater, the choir director Manuel Bethe and the general music director Philippe Bach will conduct the ensemble. Benjamin Britten's “A Hymn tot he Virgin” for a capella choir, Gerald Finzi “Dies Natalis”, Francis Poulenc “Quatre motets pour le temps de Noel” and “Gloria” will be heard before Arthur Honegger's “Une Cantate de Noel” our Christmas concert will round off. Let yourself be delighted with this concert before and after Christmas Eve, enjoy this unique atmosphere to experience this festive music in the specially illuminated Great House of the Meiningen State Theater.
